Al's Gas station - Personal project

 

Something I was working on in my own time for portfolio work. Its about a guy called Al who runs a gas station in the middle of nowhere, business is slow but he prefers it that way. He's not really a sociable person, though he has a stray dog called Dog who keeps him company. When a city woman called Pat arrives, his whole routine/life is turned upside down :)

My little niece on several occasions has tried or has eaten the cats food. So here is a painting inspired by that.

Playing around again with this style. I was initially going to call them the Robinson family but the man ended up looking Italian so they became the Del Grande family. Might add some kids, who knows...

Here was a new style I was trying out. I wanted to get a watercolour effect but using Photoshop instead of actual watercolours. I am not sure if I pulled it off but I am happy with the outcome.

Day 5 of the 3x5 art challenge. Today I decided to draw some bears. Been watching a documentary on Wildlife in Alaska and so I really wanted to draw some bears. Absolutely love them :)

Day 3 of the 3x5 art challenge. I could only post up two images today as I need to get on with some other work, But I drew quite a bit of chickens so that could kinda count as 3 pieces? I know I could post up some old work but to me that just defeats the purpose, It's called a challenge for a reason.
